How cute is this top?! It mixes it up a bit from a regular sweatshirt or hoodie – which let’s be honest, is what I tend to wear most when it’s cold out. They are quick & easy to throw on, but don’t always make me feel as put together as I’d like. I think this top would be a perfect compromise. Laid-Back but still put together & stylish. (It also comes in blue, but I legit hate the shade of baby blue that it comes in. Bleh.)

Cannot. love. this. any. more. Yes, it’s slightly lumberjack-esque… but… it just screams the holiday season to me. Everything warm & cozy & comfortable. Joe was kinda “Eh” about it, which surprised me but hey. It’s better than the hot pink flower duvet I bought once. (When he saw it he just yelled “I AM A MAN!” at me adamantly. LOL) Plus, right now all duvets are 20% off at Pottery Barn with code Duvet.

  • Starbucks Chestnut Praline Soy Latte:

IMG_2703

So this drink was introduced last year I believe and I quickly became obsessed. It tastes like Christmas. Sweet, but not too sweet. I’m not really a huge fan of the other Starbucks holiday drinks – I’m allergic to peppermint so the Peppermint Mocha is out, Gingerbread tastes gross & eggnog lattes are just “Eh” for me. So I saw the Chestnut Praline latte was back! this! year! And I’m excited. I have mine made with soy milk instead of regular milk and it adds a little more sweetness to the beverage. Try it. aaaaand the Frappuccino version might even be better than the hot version!

(On a side note – look at the disgrace that are these 2015 holiday cups. They are just plain red with the Starbucks logo. Nothing else. Basic, but it was a bit of a letdown honestly. They look cheap and very un-festive. Rude, Starbucks!)

This book is legit, you guys. I love that they are coming out with all of these books detailing more about the series. This book goes into a ton of the characters from the series and details how they were created (for the films). It really goes into all the tiny details of who the characters are – from their clothing & accessories down to detailing their personalities. It’s super interesting. There are other books in this series – a “Magical Places” book detailing all the locations in the books and films; and the “Creature Vault”, which details all the creatures and plants from the books and films. Will be investing in those as well to add to my HP collection!

  • T.J. Maxx Wooden Letters:

IMG_2729

So I found these carved wood letters at my local T.J. Maxx this past weekend and thought they would be perfect for the gallery wall in my living room. They are rustic looking while still looking modern, which I like, + only $6 each! (Basically free, am I right? 😉 ) I got the letters J, A & M – Joe, Ashley + M for our last name. They didn’t have an S – I will have to keep looking for an S that will go along nicely with these ones.

Right now I have them just standing on a table in the front entryway because I haven’t had the chance to grab some Velcro Strips to hang them on the gallery wall. I actually really like them where they are at now though, too!

Bonus Favorite:

My little babe as Old Navy’s newest kid model. Nailed it.
